Risk Analyst Summary:
Primarily responsible for the credit union’s overall compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and statutory requirements regarding Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC). Duties include monitoring and reviewing system generated alerts related to BSA and fraud, researching and investigating account activity, and timely submission of required reports and documentation related to BSA and fraud. This includes filing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs). Other responsibilities include assisting members and staff with fraud incidents. Position responsible for interactions with members, staff, management, auditors, examiners, and law enforcement.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Accounting, Finance, or Business from four-year college or university; plus one year of experience within a financial institution. Relevant and related experience or other related certifications may be substituted for education.
