JOB SUMMARY
:

Responsible for performing a broad variety of services for members in person and over the telephones. This includes but is not limited to opening and closing accounts, interviewing and processing all consumer loan requests, establishing and servicing various deposit accounts, assisting members with account problems and performs system account maintenance. Based on a needs assessment, cross sells products and services to new and existing members. Assists and supports all branch duties as needed. Position requires sales skills, excellent public relations skills and a good understanding of credit union products and services. Efficiency, accuracy and professionalism are vital for this position. Provides excellent service by demonstrating courtesy and concern for members and co-workers.

Provides information, opens and processes basic Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA) transactions and products. May also include interviewing and processing Real Estate loan requests; may perform the duties of a teller and receptionist as needed.

May be required to comply with NCUA requirements and register as a Mortgage Loan Originator and keep a current registration in compliance with the SAFE Act.

Education Requirement(s):

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

• Extraordinary service skills required; convey passion, motivation and enthusiasm for helping others

• Exhibit effective problem solving skills
• Six months cash handling experience and/or two years of service industry experience required.
